Noisy weekend roadworks 18/19 and 25/26 July

Canary Wharf Group has advised that it will be undertaking noisy road works over the next two weekends. The details of the works on the ‘north ramp’ (facing the Hotel, Eaton House/Circus and Berkeley Tower) can be found below. The works included the breaking out of concrete, and CWG will be using acoustic noise reducing fence panels to try and minimise the noise disturbance to residents.

There are two expansion joints in the road at the top of the North Ramp which have degraded to the point of disintegration and need to be replaced. The process for this is to dig them out, layer up with resin back to near road level and then fit new expansion joints. The works will take place on:

Saturday 18th July, 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs – Westferry Circus North Ramp closed.
Sunday 19th July, 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs – Westferry Circus North Ramp closed.

Saturday 25th July, 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs – Westferry Circus North Ramp closed. 
Sunday 26th July, 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs – Westferry Circus North Ramp closed. 

Please note that TfL will be amending their bus routes accordingly.
