Water: leaks and limescale

Two water-related issues have been brought into focus this week: leaks (again!) and limescale.

Leak: A corroded kitchen pipe located under a sink split, causing water damage.   Residents are reminded to periodically check under their sinks and other concealed areas (e.g., the master loo) for leaks.  Pipes and fittings within your apartment are your responsibility to maintain.  More information on preventing/dealing with leaks can be found here.  

Limescale: We live in a hard water area, and taps and shower heads will be prone to limescale build-up, which can impair the flow of water.  More information on how to deal with limescale can be found here.
