Car Park Fire Shutter works: 20th & 22nd April

Car Park Fire Shutter works: 20th & 22nd April

On Friday 20th April  between 10am-4pm the fire shutter leading to the P1 parking level will be undergoing testing and servicing.  If you will require your car during this period you must remove it before 10am, as there will be no possibility of using the access ramp until the works are completed.

On Sunday 22nd April - the same day as the London Marathon - the main car park fire shutter will be tested between 8am - 6pm.  Because of the Marathon road closures, which effectively prevent residents from being able to use the car park on that day, HML hope that this will cause minimal inconvenience.

Christmas tree disposal

Christmas tree disposal

If you have a Christmas tree that you need to dispose of, please could you take the tree down to the P1 level of the Car Park (using the Goods Lift) and leave it outside the double doors of your building entrance, where the recycling bags and other large items are generally left for collection.

Once you have taken your tree down to P1, please could you advise your concierge so that they can advise the waste operative team.  Please could you also tidy up any trails of pine needles left in your tree's wake - thank you!

Wishing you a Happy New Year.

Bridge consultation - ends January 8th

Bridge consultation - ends January 8th

**Reminder**

Residents have until Monday 8th January to comment on TfL's proposal to build a bridge linking Canary Wharf to Rotherhithe.  Please let your views be known by taking part in TfL's consultation on the bridge.

Three options are being considered in respect of locating the bridge.  All stand to have a significant impact on Canary Riverside residents, particularly those in flats with south-facing river views.  The Westferry Circus option would result in a loss of privacy for flats closest to the bridge  and all three would affect residents' views, increase light pollution and noise disturbance.

Fibre broadband issues

We have today written to the chief executives of Openreach and BT and the director of customer services at BT regarding the continuing difficulties residents are having in accessing the FTTP (fibre to the premises) broadband service that should be available to every apartment here.

If you have been successful in gaining fibre connectivity to your flat in the past 12 months we would like to hear from you - please email us and let us know who at BT/Openreach/another ISP made it happen for you.

Rotherhithe Bridge - Consultation ends January 8th 2018

Transport for London are consulting on their proposal to build a cycle & pedestrian bridge connecting Canary Wharf to Rotherhithe.  In order to accommodate the majority of river traffic without the need to raise the bridge, it will need to be built at an elevated height (20m above the highest tide) necessitating raised entry/exit ramps and large support pillars.

CREM's letter to lessees

Lessees have again received letters from CREM stating that the lease restricts them from allowing anyone to 'share' (use) their parking space, and that by doing so they are in breach of the lease.  This is incorrect: by authorising visitors and other persons to use your flat/parking space on an informal/temporary basis, where no rights or monies are transferred, you are not  in breach of your lease.
