Lift outages at the weekend
/Many residents encountered lift outages at the weekend which were in response to the fire alarm being activated.
We are advised by Parkgate Aspen that the fire alarm was trigged due to a sprinkler pump issue. The security team tried to reset the system but were unable to restore services, which meant lifts (and gas supplies) remained temporarily out of service. Subsequently a strong smell of gas was reported in Berkeley Tower, and the Estate Manager contacted Cadent/DMG/ADT to investigate. All services were fully restored by 9pm, and Parkgate Aspen have apologised for any inconvenience the outages caused to residents.
