** Reminder to owners who rent out their flat**
/Have you completed the form that you received from Parkgate Aspen on 10th November 2020 by email/letter, attaching a declaration form that must be completed by every leaseholder who uses their flat ‘for financial gain’? If not please do so ASAP.
The declaration is an important part of Canary Riverside’s application for Government funding to help cover the cost of the cladding remediation works.
Failure to return the form could detrimentally affect our eligibility for funds from the Building Safety Fund and increase the costs funded through your service charge.
A declaration must be completed by each co-owner, and for each flat owned. Please see the cladding page for an example of the declaration form. No action is required if you are the resident-owner of a single flat.
[NB working from home, eg, because of covid restrictions, does not constitute ‘business purposes’. If you run your business from your home and your flat is therefore your business premises you will need to complete a declaration].
